The last year of hockey for Prescott Youth has seen some dramatic changes including huge progress on a new rink at Pioneer Park, more volunteers stepping forward than ever before and the tremendous improvement of our young players.

12 U Prescott Storm Gold

Prescott Storm 12U – Gold Medal Finish- Sat. April 26th, 2008.

            In a blinding white and maroon swirl followed by up with a thunderous noise designed to deflate their opponents, the Prescott Storm 12 and under team came in First Place this past weekend during the Arizona Inline Hockey Association Qualifier 10.  The Prescott Storm Hockey Association hosted the AIHA Qualifier here in Prescott last weekend at the Pioneer Park Inline Hockey Rink.
            Not only did the 12 and under Prescott Storm bring home medals, but the 16 and under Storm along with the 10 and under Storm brought home Silver Medals each.  Josh Burkeen from the 12u Storm team was selected MVP.  Ethan Osburn from the 12u and the 10u Storm teams took home Top Offensive Player.  Oliver Boerst took home the Top Goalie award for both the 12u and the 10u divisions.
            The Prescott Storm Inline Hockey Teams will be competing in the State Championship Finals May 9th-May 11th for the 16 and under and High School divisions.  The 12 and under, 10 and under, and 8 and under will be competing May 16th – May 18th  at Rollerplex Arena located at 16083 North 75th Avenue Peoria, AZ 85382.
